WedonotknowwhatwerethelastlinesthatLambhadsenttoColeridge.ThelinestoCowperwereprintedintheMonthlyMagazineforDecember，1796.

ColeridgesPoemswerereviewedintheMonthlyReview，June，1796，withnomentionofLamb.TheCriticalReviewforthesamemonthsaidofLambseffusions:"Theseareverybeautiful."

Burgers"Leonora，"whichwastohavesuchaninfluenceuponEnglishliterature（itwasthefoundationofmuchofSirWalterScottspoetry），wastranslatedfromtheGermanbyWilliamTaylorofNorwichin1790andprintedintheMonthlyMagazineinMarch，1796.Scottatoncemadearivalversion.Theotherfinesong，intheAprilMonthlyMagazine，was"TheLassofFairWone."

ThementionoftheStatutedeContumeliaseemstorefertothe"LinesComposedinaConcert-Room，"whichwerefirstprintedintheMorningPost，September24，1799，butmusthavebeenwrittenearlier.MadameMara（1749-1833）isnotmentionedbynameinthepoem，butbeingoneoftheprincipalsingersofthedayLambprobablyfastenedtheepithetuponherbywayofpleasantry;orshemayhavebeenreferredtointheversionofthelineswhichLambhadseen.

ThepassageaboutMr.Chambersisnotnowexplicable;butweknowthatMrs.ReynoldswasLambsschoolmistress，probablywhenhewasverysmall，andbeforehewenttoWilliamBirdsAcademy，andthatinlaterlifeheallowedherapensionof￡30ayearuntilherdeath.
