7:4ThenthechildrenofIsraeldidputawayBaalimandAshtaroth，andservedtheLORDonly.

7:5AndSamuelsaid，GatherallIsraeltoMizpeh，andIwillprayforyouuntotheLORD.

7:6AndtheygatheredtogethertoMizpeh，anddrewwater，andpoureditoutbeforetheLORD，andfastedonthatday，andsaidthere，WehavesinnedagainsttheLORD.AndSamueljudgedthechildrenofIsraelinMizpeh.

7:7AndwhenthePhilistinesheardthatthechildrenofIsraelweregatheredtogethertoMizpeh，thelordsofthePhilistineswentupagainstIsrael.AndwhenthechildrenofIsraelheardit，theywereafraidofthePhilistines.

7:12ThenSamueltookastone，andsetitbetweenMizpehandShen，andcalledthenameofitEbenezer，saying，HithertohaththeLORDhelpedus.
