1:1Blessedisthemanthatwalkethnotinthecounseloftheungodly，norstandethinthewayofsinners，norsittethintheseatofthescornful.

1:3Andheshallbelikeatreeplantedbytheriversofwater，thatbringethforthhisfruitinhisseason;hisleafalsoshallnotwither;andwhatsoeverhedoethshallprosper.

1:4Theungodlyarenotso:butarelikethechaffwhichthewinddrivethaway.

1:5Thereforetheungodlyshallnotstandinthejudgment，norsinnersinthecongregationoftherighteous.

1:6FortheLORDknoweththewayoftherighteous:butthewayoftheungodlyshallperish.

2:1Whydotheheathenrage，andthepeopleimagineavainthing?

2:2Thekingsoftheearthsetthemselves，andtherulerstakecounseltogether，againsttheLORD，andagainsthisanointed，saying，
