Zechariah

1:1Intheeighthmonth，inthesecondyearofDarius，camethewordoftheLORDuntoZechariah，thesonofBerechiah，thesonofIddotheprophet，saying，

1:2TheLORDhathbeensoredispleasedwithyourfathers.

1:3Thereforesaythouuntothem，ThussaiththeLORDofhosts;Turnyeuntome，saiththeLORDofhosts，andIwillturnuntoyou，saiththeLORDofhosts.

1:4Beyenotasyourfathers，untowhomtheformerprophetshavecried，saying，ThussaiththeLORDofhosts;Turnyenowfromyourevilways，andfromyourevildoings:buttheydidnothear，norhearkenuntome，saiththeLORD.

1:5Yourfathers，wherearethey?andtheprophets，dotheyliveforever?

1:6Butmywordsandmystatutes，whichImandedmyservantstheprophets，didtheynottakeholdofyourfathers?andtheyreturnedandsaid，LikeastheLORDofhoststhoughttodountous，accordingtoourways，andaccordingtoourdoings，sohathhedealtwithus.

1:7Uponthefourandtwentiethdayoftheeleventhmonth，whichisthemonthSebat，inthesecondyearofDarius，camethewordoftheLORDuntoZechariah，thesonofBerechiah，thesonofIddotheprophet，saying，

1:8Isawbynight，andbeholdamanridinguponaredhorse，andhestoodamongthemyrtletreesthatwereinthebottom;andbehindhimwerethereredhorses，speckled，andwhite.

1:9ThensaidI，Omylord，whatarethese?Andtheangelthattalkedwithmesaiduntome，Iwillshewtheewhatthesebe.

1:10Andthemanthatstoodamongthemyrtletreesansweredandsaid，ThesearetheywhomtheLORDhathsenttowalktoandfrothroughtheearth.

1:11AndtheyansweredtheangeloftheLORDthatstoodamongthemyrtletrees，andsaid，Wehavewalkedtoandfrothroughtheearth，and，behold，alltheearthsittethstill，andisatrest.

1:12ThentheangeloftheLORDansweredandsaid，OLORDofhosts，howlongwiltthounothavemercyonJerusalemandonthecitiesofJudah，againstwhichthouhasthadindignationthesethreescoreandtenyears?

1:13AndtheLORDansweredtheangelthattalkedwithmewithgoodwordsandfortablewords.

1:14Sotheangelthatmunedwithmesaiduntome，Crythou，saying，ThussaiththeLORDofhosts;IamjealousforJerusalemandforZionwithagreatjealousy.

1:15AndIamverysoredispleasedwiththeheathenthatareatease:forIwasbutalittledispleased，andtheyhelpedforwardtheaffliction.

1:16ThereforethussaiththeLORD;IamreturnedtoJerusalemwithmercies:myhouseshallbebuiltinit，saiththeLORDofhosts，andalineshallbestretchedforthuponJerusale

1:17Cryyet，saying，ThussaiththeLORDofhosts;Mycitiesthroughprosperityshallyetbespreadabroad;andtheLORDshallyetfortZion，andshallyetchooseJerusale

1:18ThenliftedIupmineeyes，andsaw，andbeholdfourhorns.

1:19AndIsaiduntotheangelthattalkedwithme，Whatbethese?Andheansweredme，ThesearethehornswhichhavescatteredJudah，Israel，andJerusale

1:20AndtheLORDshewedmefourcarpenters.

1:21ThensaidI，Whatethesetodo?Andhespake，saying，ThesearethehornswhichhavescatteredJudah，sothatnomandidliftuphishead:buttheseareetofraythem，tocastoutthehornsoftheGentiles，whichlifteduptheirhornoverthelandofJudahtoscatterit.

2:1Iliftedupmineeyesagain，andlooked，andbeholdamanwithameasuringlineinhishand.

2:2ThensaidI，Whithergoestthou?Andhesaiduntome，TomeasureJerusalem，toseewhatisthebreadththereof，andwhatisthelengththereof.

2:3And，behold，theangelthattalkedwithmewentforth，andanotherangelwentouttomeethim，

2:4Andsaiduntohim，Run，speaktothisyoungman，saying，Jerusalemshallbeinhabitedastownswithoutwallsforthemultitudeofmenandcattletherein:

2:5ForI，saiththeLORD，willbeuntoherawalloffireroundabout，andwillbethegloryinthemidstofher.

2:6Ho，ho，eforth，andfleefromthelandofthenorth，saiththeLORD:forIhavespreadyouabroadasthefourwindsoftheheaven，saiththeLORD.

2:7Deliverthyself，OZion，thatdwellestwiththedaughterofBabylon.

2:8ForthussaiththeLORDofhosts;Afterthegloryhathhesentmeuntothenationswhichspoiledyou:forhethattouchethyoutoucheththeappleofhiseye.

2:9For，behold，Iwillshakeminehanduponthem，andtheyshallbeaspoiltotheirservants:andyeshallknowthattheLORDofhostshathsentme.

2:10Singandrejoice，OdaughterofZion:for，lo，Ie，andIwilldwellinthemidstofthee，saiththeLORD.

2:11AndmanynationsshallbejoinedtotheLORDinthatday，andshallbemypeople:andIwilldwellinthemidstofthee，andthoushaltknowthattheLORDofhostshathsentmeuntothee.

2:12AndtheLORDshallinheritJudahhisportionintheholyland，andshallchooseJerusalemagain.

2:13Besilent，Oallflesh，beforetheLORD:forheisraisedupoutofhisholyhabitation.
