Philippians

1:1PaulandTimotheus，theservantsofJesusChrist，toallthesaintsinChristJesuswhichareatPhilippi，withthebishopsanddeacons:

1:2Gracebeuntoyou，andpeace，fromGodourFather，andfromtheLordJesusChrist.

1:3IthankmyGoduponeveryremembranceofyou，

1:4Alwaysineveryprayerofmineforyouallmakingrequestwithjoy，

1:5Foryourfellowshipinthegospelfromthefirstdayuntilnow;

1:6Beingconfidentofthisverything，thathewhichhathbegunagoodworkinyouwillperformituntilthedayofJesusChrist:

1:7Evenasitismeetformetothinkthisofyouall，becauseIhaveyouinmyheart;inasmuchasbothinmybonds，andinthedefenceandconfirmationofthegospel，yeallarepartakersofmygrace.

1:8ForGodismyrecord，howgreatlyIlongafteryouallinthebowelsofJesusChrist.

1:9AndthisIpray，thatyourlovemayaboundyetmoreandmoreinknowledgeandinalljudgment;

1:10Thatyemayapprovethingsthatareexcellent;thatyemaybesincereandwithoutoffencetillthedayofChrist.

1:11Beingfilledwiththefruitsofrighteousness，whicharebyJesusChrist，untothegloryandpraiseofGod.

1:12ButIwouldyeshouldunderstand，brethren，thatthethingswhichhappeneduntomehavefallenoutratheruntothefurtheranceofthegospel;

1:13SothatmybondsinChristaremanifestinallthepalace，andinallotherplaces;

1:14AndmanyofthebrethrenintheLord，waxingconfidentbymybonds，aremuchmoreboldtospeakthewordwithoutfear.

1:15SomeindeedpreachChristevenofenvyandstrife;andsomealsoofgoodwill:

1:16TheonepreachChristofcontention，notsincerely，supposingtoaddafflictiontomybonds:

1:17Buttheotheroflove，knowingthatIamsetforthedefenceofthegospel.

1:18Whatthen?notwithstanding，everyway，whetherinpretence，orintruth，Christispreached;andIthereindorejoice，yea，andwillrejoice.

1:19ForIknowthatthisshallturntomysalvationthroughyourprayer，andthesupplyoftheSpiritofJesusChrist，

1:20Accordingtomyearnestexpectationandmyhope，thatinnothingIshallbeashamed，butthatwithallboldness，asalways，sonowalsoChristshallbemagnifiedinmybody，whetheritbebylife，orbydeath.

1:21FortometoliveisChrist，andtodieisgain.

1:22ButifIliveintheflesh，thisisthefruitofmylabour:yetwhatIshallchooseIwotnot.

1:23ForIaminastraitbetwixttwo，havingadesiretodepart，andtobewithChrist;whichisfarbetter:

1:24Neverthelesstoabideinthefleshismoreneedfulforyou.

1:25Andhavingthisconfidence，IknowthatIshallabideandcontinuewithyouallforyourfurtheranceandjoyoffaith;

1:26ThatyourrejoicingmaybemoreabundantinJesusChristformebymyingtoyouagain.

1:27OnlyletyourconversationbeasitbeeththegospelofChrist:thatwhetherIeandseeyou，orelsebeabsent，Imayhearofyouraffairs，thatyestandfastinonespirit，withonemindstrivingtogetherforthefaithofthegospel;

1:28Andinnothingterrifiedbyyouradversaries:whichistothemanevidenttokenofperdition，buttoyouofsalvation，andthatofGod.

1:29ForuntoyouitisgiveninthebehalfofChrist，notonlytobelieveonhim，butalsotosufferforhissake;

1:30Havingthesameconflictwhichyesawinme，andnowheartobeinme.

2:1IftherebethereforeanyconsolationinChrist，ifanyfortoflove，ifanyfellowshipoftheSpirit，ifanybowelsandmercies，

2:2Fulfilyemyjoy，thatyebelikeminded，havingthesamelove，beingofoneaccord，ofonemind.

2:3Letnothingbedonethroughstrifeorvainglory;butinlowlinessofmindleteachesteemotherbetterthanthemselves.

2:4Looknoteverymanonhisownthings，buteverymanalsoonthethingsofothers.
