2:16NowourLordJesusChristhimself，andGod，evenourFather，whichhathlovedus，andhathgivenuseverlastingconsolationandgoodhopethroughgrace，

2:17Comfortyourhearts，andstablishyouineverygoodwordandwork.

3:1Finally，brethren，prayforus，thatthewordoftheLordmayhavefreecourse，andbeglorified，evenasitiswithyou:

3:2Andthatwemaybedeliveredfromunreasonableandwickedmen:forallmenhavenotfaith.

3:3ButtheLordisfaithful，whoshallstablishyou，andkeepyoufromevil.

3:4AndwehaveconfidenceintheLordtouchingyou，thatyebothdoandwilldothethingswhichwemandyou.

3:5AndtheLorddirectyourheartsintotheloveofGod，andintothepatientwaitingforChrist.

3:6Nowwemandyou，brethren，inthenameofourLordJesusChrist，thatyewithdrawyourselvesfromeverybrotherthatwalkethdisorderly，andnotafterthetraditionwhichhereceivedofus.

3:7Foryourselvesknowhowyeoughttofollowus:forwebehavednotourselvesdisorderlyamongyou;

3:8Neitherdidweeatanymansbreadfornought;butwroughtwithlabourandtravailnightandday，thatwemightnotbechargeabletoanyofyou:

3:9Notbecausewehavenotpower，buttomakeourselvesanensampleuntoyoutofollowus.

3:10Forevenwhenwewerewithyou，thiswemandedyou，thatifanywouldnotwork，neithershouldheeat.

3:11Forwehearthattherearesomewhichwalkamongyoudisorderly，workingnotatall，butarebusybodies.

3:12NowthemthataresuchwemandandexhortbyourLordJesusChrist，thatwithquietnesstheywork，andeattheirownbread.

3:13Butye，brethren，benotwearyinwelldoing.

3:14Andifanymanobeynotourwordbythisepistle，notethatman，andhavenopanywithhim，thathemaybeashamed.

3:15Yetcounthimnotasanenemy，butadmonishhimasabrother.
