3:14ForwearemadepartakersofChrist，ifweholdthebeginningofourconfidencestedfastuntotheend;

3:17Butwithwhomwashegrievedfortyyears?wasitnotwiththemthathadsinned，whosecarcasesfellinthewilderness?

3:18Andtowhomswarehethattheyshouldnotenterintohisrest，buttothemthatbelievednot?

3:19Soweseethattheycouldnotenterinbecauseofunbelief.

4:1Letusthereforefear，lest，apromisebeingleftusofenteringintohisrest，anyofyoushouldseemtoeshortofit.

4:2Foruntouswasthegospelpreached，aswellasuntothem:butthewordpreacheddidnotprofitthem，notbeingmixedwithfaithinthemthatheardit.

4:3Forwewhichhavebelieveddoenterintorest，ashesaid，AsIhavesworninmywrath，iftheyshallenterintomyrest:althoughtheworkswerefinishedfromthefoundationoftheworld.

4:4Forhespakeinacertainplaceoftheseventhdayonthiswise，AndGoddidresttheseventhdayfromallhisworks.

4:6Seeingthereforeitremaineththatsomemustentertherein，andtheytowhomitwasfirstpreachedenterednotinbecauseofunbelief:

4:11Letuslabourthereforetoenterintothatrest，lestanymanfallafterthesameexampleofunbelief.

4:12ForthewordofGodisquick，andpowerful，andsharperthananytwoedgedsword，piercingeventothedividingasunderofsoulandspirit，andofthejointsandmarrow，andisadiscernerofthethoughtsandintentsoftheheart.

4:13Neitheristhereanycreaturethatisnotmanifestinhissight:butallthingsarenakedandopeneduntotheeyesofhimwithwhomwehavetodo.

4:14Seeingthenthatwehaveagreathighpriest，thatispassedintotheheavens，JesustheSonofGod，letusholdfastourprofession.

4:15Forwehavenotanhighpriestwhichcannotbetouchedwiththefeelingofourinfirmities;butwasinallpointstemptedlikeasweare，yetwithoutsin.

4:16Letusthereforeeboldlyuntothethroneofgrace，thatwemayobtainmercy，andfindgracetohelpintimeofneed.

5:1ForeveryhighpriesttakenfromamongmenisordainedformeninthingspertainingtoGod，thathemayofferbothgiftsandsacrificesforsins:

5:2Whocanhavepassionontheignorant，andonthemthatareoutoftheway;forthathehimselfalsoispassedwithinfirmity.

5:3Andbyreasonhereofheought，asforthepeople，soalsoforhimself，toofferforsins.

5:4Andnomantakeththishonouruntohimself，buthethatiscalledofGod，aswasAaron.

5:5SoalsoChristglorifiednothimselftobemadeanhighpriest;buthethatsaiduntohim，ThouartmySon，todayhaveIbegottenthee.

5:6Ashesaithalsoinanotherplace，ThouartapriestforeveraftertheorderofMelchisedec.
