IheardthatyouweregoingtoChina，withamissionfromtheWedgwoodstocollecthintsfortheirpottery，andtoteachtheChineseperspective.ButIdidnotknowthatLondonlayinyourwaytoPekin.Iamseriouslygladofit，forIshalltroubleyouwithasmallpresentfortheEmperorofUsbeckTartary，asyougobyhisterritories:itisafragmentofa"DissertationonthestateofpoliticalpartiesinEnglandattheendoftheeighteenthcentury，"whichwillnodoubtbeveryinterestingtohisImperialMajesty.ItwaswrittenoriginallyinEnglishfortheuseofthetwoandtwentyreadersof"TheAlbion"（thiscalculationincludesaprinter，fourpressmen，andadevil）;butbeingofnousewhen"TheAlbion"stopped，IgotittranslatedintoUsbeckTartarbymygoodfriendTibetKulm，whoisetoLondonwithacivilinvitationfromtheChamtotheEnglishnationtogoovertotheworshipoftheLama.
