5:5Andtheybroughtuptheark，andthetabernacleofthecongregation，andalltheholyvesselsthatwereinthetabernacle，thesedidthepriestsandtheLevitesbringup.

5:6AlsokingSolomon，andallthecongregationofIsraelthatwereassembleduntohimbeforetheark，sacrificedsheepandoxen，whichcouldnotbetoldnornumberedformultitude.

5:7AndthepriestsbroughtinthearkofthecovenantoftheLORDuntohisplace，totheoracleofthehouse，intothemostholyplace，evenunderthewingsofthecherubims:

5:8Forthecherubimsspreadforththeirwingsovertheplaceoftheark，andthecherubimscoveredthearkandthestavesthereofabove.

5:9Andtheydrewoutthestavesoftheark，thattheendsofthestaveswereseenfromthearkbeforetheoracle;buttheywerenotseenwithout.Andthereitisuntothisday.

5:10TherewasnothinginthearksavethetwotableswhichMosesputthereinatHoreb，whentheLORDmadeacovenantwiththechildrenofIsrael，whentheycameoutofEgypt.

5:11Anditcametopass，whenthepriestswereeoutoftheholyplace:（foralltheprieststhatwerepresentweresanctified，anddidnotthenwaitbycourse:

5:12AlsotheLeviteswhichwerethesingers，allofthemofAsaph，ofHeman，ofJeduthun，withtheirsonsandtheirbrethren，beingarrayedinwhitelinen，havingcymbalsandpsalteriesandharps，stoodattheeastendofthealtar，andwiththemanhundredandtwentypriestssoundingwithtrumpets:）

5:13Itcameeventopass，asthetrumpetersandsingerswereasone，tomakeonesoundtobeheardinpraisingandthankingtheLORD;andwhentheylifteduptheirvoicewiththetrumpetsandcymbalsandinstrumentsofmusick，andpraisedtheLORD，saying，Forheisgood;forhismercyendurethforever:thatthenthehousewasfilledwithacloud，eventhehouseoftheLORD;

5:14Sothatthepriestscouldnotstandtoministerbyreasonofthecloud:forthegloryoftheLORDhadfilledthehouseofGod.

6:1ThensaidSolomon，TheLORDhathsaidthathewoulddwellinthethickdarkness.

6:2ButIhavebuiltanhouseofhabitationforthee，andaplaceforthydwellingforever.

6:3Andthekingturnedhisface，andblessedthewholecongregationofIsrael:andallthecongregationofIsraelstood.

6:4Andhesaid，BlessedbetheLORDGodofIsrael，whohathwithhishandsfulfilledthatwhichhespakewithhismouthtomyfatherDavid，saying，

6:5SincethedaythatIbroughtforthmypeopleoutofthelandofEgyptIchosenocityamongallthetribesofIsraeltobuildanhousein，thatmynamemightbethere;neitherchoseIanymantobearulerovermypeopleIsrael:

6:6ButIhavechosenJerusalem，thatmynamemightbethere;andhavechosenDavidtobeovermypeopleIsrael.

6:7NowitwasintheheartofDavidmyfathertobuildanhouseforthenameoftheLORDGodofIsrael.

6:8ButtheLORDsaidtoDavidmyfather，Forasmuchasitwasinthinehearttobuildanhouseformyname，thoudidstwellinthatitwasinthineheart:

6:9Notwithstandingthoushaltnotbuildthehouse;butthysonwhichshalleforthoutofthyloins，heshallbuildthehouseformyname.

6:10TheLORDthereforehathperformedhiswordthathehathspoken:forIamrisenupintheroomofDavidmyfather，andamsetonthethroneofIsrael，astheLORDpromised，andhavebuiltthehouseforthenameoftheLORDGodofIsrael.

6:11AndinithaveIputtheark，whereinisthecovenantoftheLORD，thathemadewiththechildrenofIsrael.

6:12AndhestoodbeforethealtaroftheLORDinthepresenceofallthecongregationofIsrael，andspreadforthhishands:

6:13ForSolomonhadmadeabrasenscaffoldoffivecubitslong，andfivecubitsbroad，andthreecubitshigh，andhadsetitinthemidstofthecourt:anduponithestood，andkneeleddownuponhiskneesbeforeallthecongregationofIsrael，andspreadforthhishandstowardheaven.

6:14Andsaid，OLORDGodofIsrael，thereisnoGodliketheeintheheaven，norintheearth;whichkeepestcovenant，andshewestmercyuntothyservants，thatwalkbeforetheewithalltheirhearts:

6:15ThouwhichhastkeptwiththyservantDavidmyfatherthatwhichthouhastpromisedhim;andspakestwiththymouth，andhastfulfilleditwiththinehand，asitisthisday.

6:16Nowtherefore，OLORDGodofIsrael，keepwiththyservantDavidmyfatherthatwhichthouhastpromisedhim，saying，ThereshallnotfailtheeamaninmysighttosituponthethroneofIsrael;yetsothatthychildrentakeheedtotheirwaytowalkinmylaw，asthouhastwalkedbeforeme.

6:17Nowthen，OLORDGodofIsrael，letthywordbeverified，whichthouhastspokenuntothyservantDavid.

6:18ButwillGodinverydeeddwellwithmenontheearth?behold，heavenandtheheavenofheavenscannotcontainthee;howmuchlessthishousewhichIhavebuilt!

6:19Haverespectthereforetotheprayerofthyservant，andtohissupplication，OLORDmyGod，tohearkenuntothecryandtheprayerwhichthyservantprayethbeforethee:

6:20Thatthineeyesmaybeopenuponthishousedayandnight，upontheplacewhereofthouhastsaidthatthouwouldestputthynamethere;tohearkenuntotheprayerwhichthyservantprayethtowardthisplace.

6:21Hearkenthereforeuntothesupplicationsofthyservant，andofthypeopleIsrael，whichtheyshallmaketowardthisplace:hearthoufromthydwellingplace，evenfromheaven;andwhenthouhearest，forgive.

6:22Ifamansinagainsthisneighbour，andanoathbelaiduponhimtomakehimswear，andtheoathebeforethinealtarinthishouse;

6:23Thenhearthoufromheaven，anddo，andjudgethyservants，byrequitingthewicked，byrepensinghiswayuponhisownhead;andbyjustifyingtherighteous，bygivinghimaccordingtohisrighteousness.

6:24AndifthypeopleIsraelbeputtotheworsebeforetheenemy，becausetheyhavesinnedagainstthee;andshallreturnandconfessthyname，andprayandmakesupplicationbeforetheeinthishouse;

6:25Thenhearthoufromtheheavens，andforgivethesinofthypeopleIsrael，andbringthemagainuntothelandwhichthougavesttothemandtotheirfathers.

6:26Whentheheavenisshutup，andthereisnorain，becausetheyhavesinnedagainstthee;yetiftheypraytowardthisplace，andconfessthyname，andturnfromtheirsin，whenthoudostafflictthem;

6:27Thenhearthoufromheaven，andforgivethesinofthyservants，andofthypeopleIsrael，whenthouhasttaughtthemthegoodway，whereintheyshouldwalk;andsendrainuponthyland，whichthouhastgivenuntothypeopleforaninheritance.

6:28Iftherebedearthintheland，iftherebepestilence，iftherebeblasting，ormildew，locusts，orcaterpillers;iftheirenemiesbesiegetheminthecitiesoftheirland;whatsoeversoreorwhatsoeversicknesstherebe:

6:29Thenwhatprayerorwhatsupplicationsoevershallbemadeofanyman，orofallthypeopleIsrael，wheneveryoneshallknowhisownsoreandhisowngrief，andshallspreadforthhishandsinthishouse:

6:30Thenhearthoufromheaventhydwellingplace，andforgive，andrenderuntoeverymanaccordinguntoallhisways，whoseheartthouknowest;（forthouonlyknowesttheheartsofthechildrenofmen:）
