6:31Thattheymayfearthee，towalkinthyways，solongastheyliveinthelandwhichthougavestuntoourfathers.

6:32Moreoverconcerningthestranger，whichisnotofthypeopleIsrael，butisefromafarcountryforthygreatnamessake，andthymightyhand，andthystretchedoutarm;iftheyeandprayinthishouse;

6:33Thenhearthoufromtheheavens，evenfromthydwellingplace，anddoaccordingtoallthatthestrangercallethtotheefor;thatallpeopleoftheearthmayknowthyname，andfearthee，asdoththypeopleIsrael，andmayknowthatthishousewhichIhavebuiltiscalledbythyname.

6:34Ifthypeoplegoouttowaragainsttheirenemiesbythewaythatthoushaltsendthem，andtheyprayuntotheetowardthiscitywhichthouhastchosen，andthehousewhichIhavebuiltforthyname;

6:35Thenhearthoufromtheheavenstheirprayerandtheirsupplication，andmaintaintheircause.

6:36Iftheysinagainstthee，（forthereisnomanwhichsinnethnot，）andthoubeangrywiththem，anddeliverthemoverbeforetheirenemies，andtheycarrythemawaycaptivesuntoalandfaroffornear;

6:37Yetiftheybethinkthemselvesinthelandwhithertheyarecarriedcaptive，andturnandprayuntotheeinthelandoftheircaptivity，saying，Wehavesinned，wehavedoneamiss，andhavedealtwickedly;

6:38Iftheyreturntotheewithalltheirheartandwithalltheirsoulinthelandoftheircaptivity，whithertheyhavecarriedthemcaptives，andpraytowardtheirland，whichthougavestuntotheirfathers，andtowardthecitywhichthouhastchosen，andtowardthehousewhichIhavebuiltforthyname:

6:39Thenhearthoufromtheheavens，evenfromthydwellingplace，theirprayerandtheirsupplications，andmaintaintheircause，andforgivethypeoplewhichhavesinnedagainstthee.

6:40Now，myGod，let，Ibeseechthee，thineeyesbeopen，andletthineearsbeattentuntotheprayerthatismadeinthisplace.

6:41Nowthereforearise，OLORDGod，intothyrestingplace，thou，andthearkofthystrength:letthypriests，OLORDGod，beclothedwithsalvation，andletthysaintsrejoiceingoodness.

6:42OLORDGod，turnnotawaythefaceofthineanointed:rememberthemerciesofDavidthyservant.

7:1NowwhenSolomonhadmadeanendofpraying，thefirecamedownfromheaven，andconsumedtheburntofferingandthesacrifices;andthegloryoftheLORDfilledthehouse.

7:2AndthepriestscouldnotenterintothehouseoftheLORD，becausethegloryoftheLORDhadfilledtheLORDshouse.

7:3AndwhenallthechildrenofIsraelsawhowthefirecamedown，andthegloryoftheLORDuponthehouse，theybowedthemselveswiththeirfacestothegrounduponthepavement，andworshipped，andpraisedtheLORD，saying，Forheisgood;forhismercyendurethforever.

7:4ThenthekingandallthepeopleofferedsacrificesbeforetheLORD.

7:5AndkingSolomonofferedasacrificeoftwentyandtwothousandoxen，andanhundredandtwentythousandsheep:sothekingandallthepeoplededicatedthehouseofGod.

7:6Andthepriestswaitedontheiroffices:theLevitesalsowithinstrumentsofmusickoftheLORD，whichDavidthekinghadmadetopraisetheLORD，becausehismercyendurethforever，whenDavidpraisedbytheirministry;andthepriestssoundedtrumpetsbeforethem，andallIsraelstood.

7:7MoreoverSolomonhallowedthemiddleofthecourtthatwasbeforethehouseoftheLORD:forthereheofferedburntofferings，andthefatofthepeaceofferings，becausethebrasenaltarwhichSolomonhadmadewasnotabletoreceivetheburntofferings，andthemeatofferings，andthefat.

7:8AlsoatthesametimeSolomonkeptthefeastsevendays，andallIsraelwithhim，averygreatcongregation，fromtheenteringinofHamathuntotheriverofEgypt.

7:9Andintheeighthdaytheymadeasolemnassembly:fortheykeptthededicationofthealtarsevendays，andthefeastsevendays.

7:10Andonthethreeandtwentiethdayoftheseventhmonthhesentthepeopleawayintotheirtents，gladandmerryinheartforthegoodnessthattheLORDhadsheweduntoDavid，andtoSolomon，andtoIsraelhispeople.

7:11ThusSolomonfinishedthehouseoftheLORD，andthekingshouse:andallthatcameintoSolomonshearttomakeinthehouseoftheLORD，andinhisownhouse，heprosperouslyeffected.

7:12AndtheLORDappearedtoSolomonbynight，andsaiduntohim，Ihaveheardthyprayer，andhavechosenthisplacetomyselfforanhouseofsacrifice.

7:13IfIshutupheaventhattherebenorain，orifImandthelocuststodevourtheland，orifIsendpestilenceamongmypeople;

7:14Ifmypeople，whicharecalledbymyname，shallhumblethemselves，andpray，andseekmyface，andturnfromtheirwickedways;thenwillIhearfromheaven，andwillforgivetheirsin，andwillhealtheirland.

7:15Nowmineeyesshallbeopen，andmineearsattentuntotheprayerthatismadeinthisplace.

7:16FornowhaveIchosenandsanctifiedthishouse，thatmynamemaybethereforever:andmineeyesandmineheartshallbethereperpetually.

7:17Andasforthee，ifthouwiltwalkbeforeme，asDavidthyfatherwalked，anddoaccordingtoallthatIhavemandedthee，andshaltobservemystatutesandmyjudgments;

7:18ThenwillIstablishthethroneofthykingdom，accordingasIhavecovenantedwithDavidthyfather，saying，ThereshallnotfailtheeamantoberulerinIsrael.

7:19Butifyeturnaway，andforsakemystatutesandmymandments，whichIhavesetbeforeyou，andshallgoandserveothergods，andworshipthem;

7:20ThenwillIpluckthemupbytherootsoutofmylandwhichIhavegiventhem;andthishouse，whichIhavesanctifiedformyname，willIcastoutofmysight，andwillmakeittobeaproverbandabywordamongallnations.

7:21Andthishouse，whichishigh，shallbeanastonishmenttoeveryonethatpassethbyit;sothatheshallsay，WhyhaththeLORDdonethusuntothisland，anduntothishouse?

7:22Anditshallbeanswered，BecausetheyforsooktheLORDGodoftheirfathers，whichbroughtthemforthoutofthelandofEgypt，andlaidholdonothergods，andworshippedthem，andservedthem:thereforehathhebroughtallthiseviluponthe

8:1Anditcametopassattheendoftwentyyears，whereinSolomonhadbuiltthehouseoftheLORD，andhisownhouse，

8:2ThatthecitieswhichHuramhadrestoredtoSolomon，Solomonbuiltthem，andcausedthechildrenofIsraeltodwellthere.

8:3AndSolomonwenttoHamathzobah，andprevailedagainstit.

8:4AndhebuiltTadmorinthewilderness，andallthestorecities，whichhebuiltinHamath.

8:5AlsohebuiltBethhorontheupper，andBethhoronthenether，fencedcities，withwalls，gates，andbars;

8:6AndBaalath，andallthestorecitiesthatSolomonhad，andallthechariotcities，andthecitiesofthehorsemen，andallthatSolomondesiredtobuildinJerusalem，andinLebanon，andthroughoutallthelandofhisdominion.
