1:3WegivethankstoGodandtheFatherofourLordJesusChrist，prayingalwaysforyou，

1:4SinceweheardofyourfaithinChristJesus，andofthelovewhichyehavetoallthesaints，

1:5Forthehopewhichislaidupforyouinheaven，whereofyeheardbeforeinthewordofthetruthofthegospel;

1:6Whichiseuntoyou，asitisinalltheworld;andbringethforthfruit，asitdothalsoinyou，sincethedayyeheardofit，andknewthegraceofGodintruth:

1:7AsyealsolearnedofEpaphrasourdearfellowservant，whoisforyouafaithfulministerofChrist;

1:8WhoalsodeclareduntousyourloveintheSpirit.

1:9Forthiscausewealso，sincethedayweheardit，donotceasetoprayforyou，andtodesirethatyemightbefilledwiththeknowledgeofhiswillinallwisdomandspiritualunderstanding;

1:10ThatyemightwalkworthyoftheLorduntoallpleasing，beingfruitfulineverygoodwork，andincreasingintheknowledgeofGod;

1:11Strengthenedwithallmight，accordingtohisgloriouspower，untoallpatienceandlongsufferingwithjoyfulness;

1:12GivingthanksuntotheFather，whichhathmadeusmeettobepartakersoftheinheritanceofthesaintsinlight:

1:13Whohathdeliveredusfromthepowerofdarkness，andhathtranslatedusintothekingdomofhisdearSon:

1:14Inwhomwehaveredemptionthroughhisblood，eventheforgivenessofsins:

1:15WhoistheimageoftheinvisibleGod，thefirstbornofeverycreature:

1:16Forbyhimwereallthingscreated，thatareinheaven，andthatareinearth，visibleandinvisible，whethertheybethrones，ordominions，orprincipalities，orpowers:allthingswerecreatedbyhim，andforhim:

1:17Andheisbeforeallthings，andbyhimallthingsconsist.

1:18Andheistheheadofthebody，thechurch:whoisthebeginning，thefirstbornfromthedead;thatinallthingshemighthavethepreeminence.

1:19ForitpleasedtheFatherthatinhimshouldallfulnessdwell;

1:20And，havingmadepeacethroughthebloodofhiscross，byhimtoreconcileallthingsuntohimself;byhim，Isay，whethertheybethingsinearth，orthingsinheaven.

1:21Andyou，thatweresometimealienatedandenemiesinyourmindbywickedworks，yetnowhathhereconciled

1:22Inthebodyofhisfleshthroughdeath，topresentyouholyandunblameableandunreproveableinhissight:

1:23Ifyecontinueinthefaithgroundedandsettled，andbenotmovedawayfromthehopeofthegospel，whichyehaveheard，andwhichwaspreachedtoeverycreaturewhichisunderheaven;whereofIPaulammadeaminister;

1:24Whonowrejoiceinmysufferingsforyou，andfillupthatwhichisbehindoftheafflictionsofChristinmyfleshforhisbodyssake，whichisthechurch:

1:25WhereofIammadeaminister，accordingtothedispensationofGodwhichisgiventomeforyou，tofulfilthewordofGod;

1:26Eventhemysterywhichhathbeenhidfromagesandfromgenerations，butnowismademanifesttohissaints:

1:27TowhomGodwouldmakeknownwhatistherichesofthegloryofthismysteryamongtheGentiles;whichisChristinyou，thehopeofglory:

1:28Whomwepreach，warningeveryman，andteachingeverymaninallwisdom;thatwemaypresenteverymanperfectinChristJesus:

1:29WhereuntoIalsolabour，strivingaccordingtohisworking，whichworkethinmemightily.

2:1ForIwouldthatyeknewwhatgreatconflictIhaveforyou，andforthematLaodicea，andforasmanyashavenotseenmyfaceintheflesh;
